Shana offers private music lessons in her Freedom, NH studio and online via Skype. Shana teaches a weekly String Band group class at First Congregational Church in Wakefield, and often presents workshops covering particular styles or instruments. Shana loves working with students of any level; beginners are welcome! Shana’s unique personal journey greatly informs her teaching, she can truly empathize with adult beginners as they embark on learning something new and challenging. Shana is deeply committed to helping each student connect with their own personal music expression that waits within.
Shana has over 35 years of experience in teaching music, and works with students of any level. She teaches many instruments including fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki, 5 string banjo, ukulele, guitar, lap steel guitar, tenor guitar, fretted dulcimer, piano, harmonium, and hand percussion. Community String Band class: traditional folk, old time and contra dance music taught by ear, led by multi-instrumentalist Shana Aisenberg in a supportive and fun atmosphere. This ongoing class has been meeting in Wakefield since 2008.
Multi-level class meets weekly on Thursdays at First Congregational Church in Wakefield from 6:30 – 7:45 PM. $15.
